Making News - 3/24/10 Watch Jessie Degollado's Report on KSAT TV and/or read the story on www.KSAT.com. Ms. Degollado and the news team produced a beautiful News Story about this site and more importantly about Lance and About The Cause including an interview with Lance himself (read his bio statement here). The first of what may be a two or three part series began today (3/24/10) and aired on KSAT 12 at 6:00 PM. View Video This all came about when Steve Schulz, host of the Team Roping (the 1st Fund Raiser Event) and dear friend/cousin-in-law of Lance, told Mr. Davila (owner of Davila Electric) about Lance and the event this weekend. Upon hearing Lance's story and how so many people have come together to help out, Mr. and Mrs. Davila thought it was a wonderful human interest story and were kind enough to offer to share this information with a friend at KSAT 12. Ms. Degollado, reporter for KSAT 12 News in San Antonio, contacted Lance and conducted an interview with him and a few family members this afternoon. The story will hopefully help spread the word and generate additional prayers and positive thoughts for Lance as he undergoes surgery tomorrow morning. A HUGE Special Thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Davila, Bernice Kearney "the friend at KSAT", Ms. Degollado, KSAT 12 and of course Steve for making this happen for Lance. The power of prayer and networking of good people with kind hearts is a wonderful thing. |
