She's not perfect and yes she has a few miles . . . but
hey, she needs a few more and she does run and drive really well. Never
been in an accident, never had a tow hitch and never lost a race! Ok, just
kidding about the race part, but it is true . . . it's hard to lose if you
don't enter a race :-)
This car was purchased / special ordered with the Gold Trim package by GD's mom back in 1989 and has been maintained well over the years with regular fluid changes and check ups by Temple Hill Automotive in San Antonio. Receipts have all been kept and are available. There are a couple of minor flaws here and there, but not near as many as would be expected on a car of this age. The Caddy was at the Team Roping event and there were many people there that day hoping to be the winner of the raffle. As it turned out, a dear friend of the family, Mike Piland (VP/GM CACTUS ROPES) ended up winning the raffle and after much debate, he decided to donate the car back to the Lance Rankin Cancer Fund and wants to purchase the first book of tickets to help raise additional money for Lance and his family. Many thanks to Mike and the rest of the ticket buyers from the first round. We will honor Mike's request and now have tickets available for the May 1st event raffle. Each $20.00 donation went into the Lance Rankin Cancer Fund. Thanks to everyone that donated to this raffle. |
