As mentioned on the
Donated Items 5/01 page, the guys are creating a "Rankinstein"!!!
The cooking surface alone is right at 3 foot by 7 foot with a stainless grate to be added when complete. The wheels are being added this week and the guys say she'll be ready to roll pretty darn soon. The raffle tickets are now available. The drawing will be held at the May 29th event, the B-B-Que Contest in Somerset. Tickets are $25.00 each or 5 for an even $100.00 donation. You can get tickets for any of the folks that are listed on the page for this event, or you can reserve your tickets by donating online or sending a check or money order to the Lance Rankin Cancer Fund. Here's how: You may make a donation by using any of the methods available (see the Donations page or use the Donate button below) and putting the word "Pit" in the notes section of the form of payment. i.e. Type Pit in the Note Field if using the PayPal method, or write Pit in the notes/memo section of a check or money order. If contributing cash, mention the Pit to the person you are donating the cash to and they will see to it that you get a raffle ticket for each $25.00 donation.
