 Hole In One - or Closest to the Hole

March 28th - to be held with the Team Roping at the same location - Dragging S Arena - San Antonio, TX Bring your favorite Pitching Wedge! Over and above the Team Roping there has been an additional event added. To make a long story short, a previous "Rope & Stroke" event to be held in Hondo had to be canceled due to weather conditions. It was rescheduled a few times with the same misfortunate results. Now the top prizes, the two beautiful belt buckles below, have been donated and will be awarded to the winner and runner up in a "Hole In One or Closest to the Hole" golf shot contest to be held along side the roping - Sunday, March 28th. Rules will be simple - A Hole in One golf shot from the designated Tee* area to the designated "Green" (around 75 yards or less) will win one of the buckles below. If no one makes a "hole in one" shot, then the Closest to the Hole will be awarded Champion including the Champion Buckle shown below, a Champion Golfer decal and all bragging rights! The next closest will be Runner Up and take home the second place buckle. * - A Ladies/Youth Tee area will be available. Entries will be taken the day of the event (March 28th) at the location. Each shot / ball will be $5.00. There will be a time limit set for this contest since there will be no artificial lighting at the green. Enter as many times as time allows. All proceeds will go into the Lance Rankin Cancer Fund. |
