I'm writing this message to give everyone an overdue update on my condition. Everything is going very well and my next surgery is scheduled for the 26th of this month, This will be an out-patient procedure, so I should be able to go home the same day.

One step closer to getting things back to normal. Normal to me now is a lot different than what I thought was normal a month ago. A month ago I thought life was a given right not a gift. It's sad to think that it takes a life altering event to make you realize how precious life is and realize that life itself is a gift, not a given right. Everything has changed and the way I view it has changed. I appreciate all the little things that I took for granted before because they were almost taken away from me. If you knew tomorrow was your last day, how much differently would you treat today?

That is how I view every day now. A true blessing from God and an opportunity to make the most of it and to make a positive difference in my life and the lives of others around me. I plan to make the most of this second chance I have been given. Because of all of you and your prayers, God has answered and I am living proof that the power of prayer and faith does work. So many of you gave so much of yourselves and so much of your time and asked nothing in return.

Well, the return will be ten fold one day and all who believe will reap the rewards of faith and the power of prayer. This foundation that has been set up in my name will be there for years to come to help others in need and it is a true testament to power of the human spirit and the gift of giving to those in need. I am truly honored and humbled to be part of something so amazing and I thank each and everyone of you for what you have done for me.
