I
am taking this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who
have given so much of your time and effort to support me with your
prayers and well wishes. The power of prayer is truly an amazing
thing.
God gives everyone a
purpose in life. An opportunity to make a positive change in their
life or someone else's life. I now know what his purpose for me
is. I have been blessed, truly blessed by the friends and family
who have touched my life. God has given me a blessing of
enlightenment and education. The opportunity to share my story not
of sadness or despair but of hope and awareness. Awareness of the
dangers of a silent killer called cancer. I accept this challenge
and embrace this opportunity in hopes that my story will touch
someone else's life. |

16th 2008 I had a small mole removed from my forehead that was
tested and came back negative. 22 months later I
was diagnosed with malignant melanoma stage two Clarks
level four. During my surgery they are
going to remove an area the size of a baseball from
my forehead. This insignificant little mole turned
out to be one of the most aggressive cancers known to
man. I am now fighting for my life because of it. I
have been given a very special gift, a gift of hope a
gift of awareness for others. God has placed this
task on my shoulders to tell others and to help
others realize the most amazing gift of all is LIFE!
It should never be taken for granted. I hope my story
brings awareness to the seriousness of cancer in all
its forms and the simple measures we should all take
to prevent it. I believe God has chosen me for a
reason to deliver his message of love and life. I
will not let Him down! The worth of a man is not
judged by his size, the house he lives in, his
occupation, the car he drives, or the money in his
bank account. The quality of a man should be judged
by what he does for others and the lives he touches
along the way. I have been truly
blessed to have been given this life and for every
person that calls me their friend. Thank you all for
your prayers and support.
